Sam Travis is an award winning Director of Photography and has worked on multiple award winning short films. Notably, On Your Behalf (2021), where he was awarded Best Cinematography at RED Movie Awards. On Your Behalf also screened at the Oscar qualifying Edmonton International Film Festival & Calgary International Film Festival. On Your Behalf was also selected at 6 GOYA Qualifying Festivals, picking up 6 Awards. Qualifying OYB for consideration at Spain’s prestigious GOYA Awards.

Redisplacement (2019), picking up Best UK Short at Nottingham International Film Festival and distributed on the platform WatchDust, with a following of 2.7 million on YouTube. Landsharks (2018), winning Best UK Short at the BAFTA and Oscar qualifying Raindance Film Festival. Eat Your Principles (2017), with 11 official selections, notably Japans Oscar qualifying Short Shorts International Film Festival. The Truants (2016), which was awarded Short of the Week by Short of the Week and screened at BFI Future Film.

Sam Freelances as a Director of Photography, with work with high end fashion brands such as Nike, Stone Island, Pyrenex and Puma plus client work with the Vodafone Group and Coca-Cola.

Sam has also shot music videos for Naira Marley, Dean Lewis, Junior Brother, TG Millian, Silento & Issac Gracie. With many receiving over a million views on YouTube.
